  Don't even bother. You walk in wait in line to get a number to wait in line. Incompetent ppl at the desk who I've heard be rude to 3 people. Be ready for 2-3 hr wait for stuff you're supposed to be able to do online. What's the point of a website if my taxes are paying for this kinda speed?...get real

  Beware the maximum occupancy is 24. No joke. This place is more like a garden shed than a DPS office. No one was overly rude but I never really expect a joyful staff when I visit the DPS. They are however, severely understaffed and if you didn't know better you would have no idea where to go or how to check in as was the a case with many of the older customers there. I was changing my name and without warning the young lady cut up my ID (never happened to me before) which was still valid and very much needed for all the government agencies and banks I was going to need to visit until my new ID came in. Anyone who has ever tried to do anything legal related is aware of the struggles with attempting to use a temporary ID. Very disappointed in this location and next time will just take the day off from work and visit another location.

  The wait is crazy long and the population of Georgetown has far outgrown this location. When they reach capacity in the lobby, they send people outside so a speaker with the number being called might help. Better yet, maybe take appointments for more than just driving tests. We were lucky today and had a good group of very helpful young ladies. It's easy to see that not only can the customers get frustrated, but so can the employees. Lower score today is only because of the wait.
