  I have worked with and for Jim Jarvis for the last six years, approximately and during that time we have helped countless people through some of the most emotionally and legally difficult times of their lives. I would like to point out that, in the aftermath of family law litigation, people almost never feel as though they had a "good" experience whether or not the best result was achieved for them. In my experience people do not frequently leave online reviews when they are satisfied with a product or a service - they typically move forward and recommend the product or service to friends. This is how we receive a large portion of our clientele. The nature of the business of family law is that people feel injured and are struggling and our firm does not disregard those feelings. I am very proud of what we do here and the assistance that we provide to our clients.

  At a time of divorce you are most vulnerable, you need an attorney that truly has your best interest at heart. Initially Jim Jarvis promised a 50/50 settlement. End result, lost 62% of all 401k's, cash and monies, lost house and over 30 years of furnishing and properties in the house ( furnishings he valued at $2,000!!!), half my pension, and $1500 a month in spousal support for 2yrs. I received all her credit card debt, lost airline miles, personal property and even my dog! All this great counsel cost almost $20,000. Think I'm kidding? Consider this fair warning! Jim was strictly about delaying the process and racking up billable hours.

  Jim Jarvis was retained to represent me in a divorce case when I was never married to the woman who filed the case. We never lived together in the state of Texas, or any other state, there was no marriage lic., not bills in our names, no bank accounts, no utilities, nothing!!! With all kinds of promises from Jim Jarvis on how he would get the case won, It ended up in a mediation. During the mediation process Jarvis told me to shut up and stop talking, he threatened me with high attorney fees, through the mediation agreement in the air, lied to me during the mediation and then beat me down to the point I signed the agreement even though I didn't want to. It was like being accused of something you know you didn't do, yet you are being made to confess anyway. It was the most stressful thing I've ever been through! Don't ever retain Jim Jarvis, he is not on your side. All he wants is your money, once he has it you want ever hear from him again until he wants more money. You've been warned, employing him to represent you will lead to heartbreak and many hours of frustration to the point you will want to do what ever!!! After the mediation agreement was signed all he had to do was get the judge to sign the order that there was never a marriage, it only takes 30-mins and it would have been done. It took almost 5-months to get Jim Jarvis to set a date to get judge to sign the order that there was no marriage. The only thing that made him get off his ass and get the order signed was two emails I sent to the other attorney, the judge and his office telling him if he didn't get the order signed I was going to the State-Bar-Association and file a compliant. He had the court date set within 30-days. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER RETAIN SOMEONE LIKE JIM JARVIS. He lies, makes statements that are not true and then tells you he never said it. I truly hope more people who have had experiences with Jim Jarvis will come forth and post their experience they had with him. It's a great way to put lawyers on notice we've had enough of their god like mentality. I rate him two steps below a used care salesman!!! I will post my experience with Jim Jarvis on all the social media that I can and hope everyone else will do the same....... Facebook, twitter, and others.
